Mr. Alexander is the director of minority affairs. For the PA Program, he is active in student and preceptor recruitment. He has over 28 years of experience as a physician assistant with practice in family medicine, general internal medicine and correctional medicine. He currently is a physician assistant at the Duke University Student Health Center. Mr. Alexander is past chair of the Minority Affairs Committee and has served on the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants. He is the Physician Assistant Education Association’s representative to the National Association of Medical Minority Educators. He is a member of Pi Alpha, the national physician assistant honor society. His clinical and educational interests include: multicultural health, men’s health and diabetes.
